Unable To Unarchive

Hello,

When I’m running a job, I select the .zip option. It goes to the wp-content/uploads/ path and I select the file that it tells me from the logs where the folder backup file is located. I’m able to ftp the file from the remote server to the desktop.

Then, when I double click the file to unarchive from the desktop after moving the file from the remote server to the desktop, it gives me this message: Unable to unarchive “backwpup_8fec3e_2013-04-23_18-42-40.tar.gz” into “Desktop”. I’ve tried all archive formats and it wont unarchive on my desktop. It keeps giving me messages “Unable to unarchive.” Im not sure why this is?
