Unable to Auto Upgrade

    Actually although I am logged in to my site trying to upgrade requires a log in which fails.

    Using same login as blogsite ie host is name of site,admin, password.

  • I think you are speaking about the login you need to do to allow WordPress to move the new theme onto your server. The login details you require here are not the same details that you use to login to your site. Here you need to enter the FTP details that would have been provided by your hosting company.

    although it hung and gave me the same error message. Dashboard show v 2.8.4 and all the files were changed. Call it resolved.
