Unable to Automatically Post on Instagram
-
I created a Jetpack account through the “Get Start” button on Jetpack Social and connected Facebook and Instagram from the Jetpack management screen. This connection allowed automatic posting to my Facebook timeline when I posted on WordPress. However, the posts are not being made on Instagram.
The official page below states, “When establishing a connection between your website and Instagram via Jetpack for the first time, a permissions dialog box will pop up. In this new dialog, you’ll need to enable specific permissions for Jetpack to manage your Instagram posts effectively. Click “Edit access” to customize these permissions.” https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-social/instagram/
However, when connecting Instagram via Jetpack, the Facebook login dialog appears, and after logging in, no permissions dialog box appears. The dialog closes automatically, and a popup appears on the Jetpack screen asking, “Do you want to connect?” After confirming the connection, it shows that the connection was successful, but the automatic posting fails.
For context, my Facebook page and Instagram professional account are connected. In the Jetpack menu, it shows that Instagram is connected. Automatic posting to Facebook is successful. I have set up an eye catcher for the post.
Is there any solution to this issue?
