Unable to change email in www.ads-software.com account

    I am going out of my head …

    First I can’t find anywhere to post, or question, about www.ads-software.com. I have been searching around for half an hour for both this, and also to find a solution.

    I am merely wanting to change the email address on my www.ads-software.com account. I receive an email to the new address and I click on the link to confirm the change of email address, but the old one is still there!!

    I want to erase this account because I have realised that I have two accounts, and this one is unused.

    Hopefully someone can help

  • Do you mean your www.ads-software.com account on this site? If it is on this particular website (www.ads-software.com) all you need to do it click on your account name at the top right hand corner of the page. A drop down menu will appear. Select “Edit my Profile”. This will take you to a new page. If you scroll down to “email” there is a tiny link on the right that says “edit”. Clicking on that should allow you to change your email address.

    Thank you for your input, but not helpful.

    If you read the original post …. I explain that I get an email sent to the NEW address for confirmation of change – that means that I’ve already successfully completed the process you explain.

    And yes – it is for my www.ads-software.com account (as I outlined 3 times(!) in original post).

    Ah I see. My apologies. Do you still see the following text at the top of your profile:
    “There is a pending email address change to” followed by your NEW email address?

    Also, you need to use a different email for the account you want to make inactive (since you can’t really delete an account) than the one that you are using for your active account. You can only use an email account ONCE on this site.

    After going through the same process for a fourth time, it now worked!!

    Same problem. I never got the new email sent for verification no matter how I try.

    I clicked on Edit my Profile and, unless I’m blind, I do not see any EDIT link at the lower right corner.

    Actually have a big issue in one on my account to wordpress.
    Basically I am not available to change the email address, the previous email is from another person but I bought the domain and I have the access to the FTP account.
    I can you fix this issue?

    I see that message about pending but have not received a confirmation email. It has been more than a week.
