Unable to change hero title and subtitle text

I think that your homepage template has been changed.
?
?For your Customizer to work in a proper way on your front page you need to have the page template set to front page.
?
?To do that you need to do to WP admin -> Your Front Page -> Quick Edit -> Template -> Front Page Template.

Hello, I’m having the same issue. My page is set up to use the Front Page Template but the issue still exists. Any other suggestions? Is there a manual way to change this behind the scenes?

I have the same problem and my Front Page template IS the front page template. I want to change the heading and subtitle of the hero image but can’t do it because the OPTIONS BUTTONS next to SHOW TITLE and SHOW TITLE are missing in Customizer. I did check my front page template and it hasn’t changed at all. It’s still using the front page template.

Same problem here (with page actually set as front page template), somehow I could change it once so I put a random text but now I’m stuck with it

Hello, does anyone have the solution to this yet? @ionuttudose? The OPTION buttons do appear very quickly and then disappear before I get the chance to click it.

Hi all. I have the same problem. I’m not able to change title and subtitle, so I’m forced to deactivate them for now. I don’t have any thing so edit them : the original message is in :

./wp-content/themes/mesmerize/customizer/presets.php

before I can change it by vim in cmd and in database, could someone help me??
