unable to check the Avif checkbox

  • Hi,
    I’m unable to check the Avif checkbox. No problem with WebP Checkbox.

    How can I solve this?

    Hello @darfil

    In our experience, the issue usually appears because AVIF conversion is not supported by the server.

    Please note that CompressX is a localhost AVIF and WebP conversion plugin that requires proper configuration of the server.

    In your case, you can go to the plugin’s System Information tab and check whether GD or Imagick extension is installed, and whether the extensions support AVIF. You can refer to this example screenshot.
