    I am having this issue I have even contacted the support team but still facing the issue. I have even talked to my host and they are saying everything is good from our side. I don’t know what to do.

  • I am experiencing the same issue and have done so for the past week. I have tried different devices, browsers and incognito but nothing helps. Both jetpack.com and cloud.jetpack.com are not responding.

    I have the same issue with several websites that are running at different hosting providers. As soon as I click Backup & Scan from the admin console menu in WordPress the page is loading forever and after a while I get “ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT”.

    Hi @swashjewellery,

    I’m sorry to hear about the trouble reoccurring. I have just checked your Jetpack connection, and everything seems to be okay at the moment. This makes me think that the connection issue might be intermittent.

    It’d be interesting to have a look at the site logs if you notice that the issue still happens so often. Would you be able to ask your host to provide those logs to pass over?

    Same here I don’t know what’s the reasons I have even contacted the jetpack support but the issue is not resolved yet.

    We replied to your support ticket by email yesterday. We’re running into rate limit errors when communicating with your site, so we suggest contacting your host and asking them to whitelist our IP addresses:

    I contacted my host provider and they are saying everything is fine from our side.

    from the host side, they said ” We do not whitelist IPs on Shared hosting Plans.

    Sorry to hear that’s the case, as it sounds very possible that they are limiting the amount of times Jetpack can reach out to your site to perform its tasks.

    If we get limited, blocked, or the connection is otherwise interrupted like this, then jetpack will not be able to function properly without being allowed (via a whitelist).

    JetPack plugin generates too many requests for our Shared Packages . The limits that are set for Shared servers prevent this plugin from sending enough requests to function properly.

    Ah, yes, unfortunately it sounds like that host will not be compatible with our services.

    Hello! I do have a similar problem – Unable to communicate with the website. Run the jetpack debug tool and it said there is a small program error and I have to drop you guys a note. Really appreciate it if you can check this. Also, I am unable to make changes to the jetpack settings.
