    WordFence Scan gives the following error message –
    Scan Time Limit Exceeded
    Type: Time Limit
    Issue Found November 23, 2020, 12:01 pm
    High

    Details: The scan time limit of 3 hours has been exceeded and the scan will be terminated. This limit can be customized on the options page. Get More Information

    Please help as the above Scan Troubleshooting does not work.

    Also tried the following-

    Under scan options- Scan > Scan Options and Scheduling page and locate the “Performance Options”

    Set “Maximum execution time for each scan stage” to 20 on the options page
    Click to “Save Changes”

    Please assist.

    Hi @best01 thanks for seeking our help and detailing what you’ve tried so far.

    Can you do the following so I can get the information I need to help you?

    • Visit the Tools > Diagnostics page
    • In the “Debugging Options” section check the circle “Enable debugging mode”
    • Click to “Save Changes”.
    • Start a new scan (click stop first if there’s one already being attempted)
    • Copy the last 20 lines from the Log (click the “Show Log” link) or so of the activity log once the scan finishes and paste them in the post.
