Unable to connect facebook

Through jetpack social, whenever I try to create a connection to my facebook account, the following two things happen:

1. I see the message “You previously logged in to jetback with facebook
2. No accounts/pages found

I have followed all the steps to debug this software.

1. From facebook removed the Jetpack app. It is gone. Then from the wordpress/jetpack social, creating the connection makes it reappear
2. From my wordpress dashboard, disconnect jetpack, then re-install it. Still won’t connect

The only help available leads to those two paths and their online help sucks sh*t. The happybot chat is useless. Their online troubleshooting is useless.
