Unable to connect JetPack

My site complains about JetPack not being connected and I seem unable to rectify this.
I’ve even tried deactivating and re-installing JetPack, but when I get to the “Choose an account to activate JetPack”-screen it completely ignores my WP.com login, which might have been caused by the Brave browser…
When I use Safari, I get to the “Checklist” but no further. If I then go into the “Health status” screen of my WP-site it says that my site is **not** connected.: 200What’s wrong?
