I get this message “Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support.” The site is a sub-directory install (/wordpress/). I’ve tried the debugger, and it gives a 404 for the direct URL (because xmlrpc.php is in the sub-dir), and an “unknown error” if I use the sub-dir URL.

I know I had the site active on Jetpack a long time ago, and the Site URL (domain portion) has changed since then probably. I did delete Jetpack from the plugins page, and reinstall (twice), but that hasn’t helped. Not sure what to do next.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello, there.

I’ve adjusted Jetpack’s URL to include https://dev.shanebishop.net/wordpress for your actual site’s URL on the server.

Would you be able to try the following exact steps for me now?

    1. From the wp-admin dashboard of your site, please go to Jetpack > Dashboard > Connections > “Manage site connection” from your left-hand menu.

    2. Click the “Disconnect” button. If it’s already disconnected, you can skip to the next step.

    3. Deactivate your Jetpack plugin by heading to Plugins > Installed Plugins and finding “Jetpack by WordPress.com.” After a few moments, activate it.

    4. Back in Jetpack > Dashboard > Connections > “Manage site connection,” Click the “Set up Jetpack” button and continue through the approval process.

Please let us know the results of this troubleshooting and we can go from there. Thanks!

I couldn’t actually get to the Dashboard since it wasn’t connected yet, but I refreshed the page, which triggered a re-attempt and it worked!

I believe we’re all good here, thanks so much ??
