Unable to connect the account

  • Hi @qsheeraz,

    I’m experimenting with your plugin but can’t manage to connect it with my Instagram account successfully. Initially, I was getting the InstagramAPI\Response\LoginResponse: Challenge required. error. Then, after reading your response here I subscribed for an Instagram Proxy via the link you recommended, and now I’m getting Network: CURL error 56: Received HTTP code 403 from proxy after CONNECT (see https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html).

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    Is this HTTPS proxy? You need HTTPS proxy for the plugin.

    You can also try without proxy. It may take a few days but will be connected and that will be better.

    You need to login to your Instagram account via the official website or your mobile device. You will see ‘unusual login attempt’ warning there.
    The area which is showing unusual login attempt is your Web Server location.
    You need to keep pressing ‘This was me’ until Instagram accepts your new login location. Nowadays its taking more time to proof new location due to tight security from Instagram. But sooner or later, Instagram will accept it. You may try with a break. Like a day or two. Don’t try continuously.

    That way you will be able to connect.

    As per your suggestion @qsheeraz , I have tried for a number of days in 2 weeks period and I couldn’t connect. Did everything you said, but no luck. :/
