Unable to connect to the Disqus API servers @ Localhost WAMPSERVER

So i recently created a disqus account that i would use for my locally host site run by WAMPSERVER. However, whenever i try to login, even with the correct credential information, i get the error: Unable to connect to the Disqus API servers. I have tried enabling disqus plugins in the settings area but nothing is worked.
