Unable to connect to website

The website is unable to connect to Jetpack. The error received is “There was a problem connecting this site to WordPress.com: “The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site https://nancyc38.sg-host.com [HTTP 403]. Ask your web host if they allow connections from WordPress.com. If you need further assistance, contact Jetpack Support: https://jetpack.com/support/””

I also get a generic error, “An error occurred. Please try again.” when I click any “Setup Jetpack” button.

In WooCommerce settings there is a box at the top “Connect Jetpack to activate WooCommerce Shipping & Tax” and when I click the “Connect” button I’m redirected to a Jetpack page in the admin area that gives me the same unable to connect error.

I have uninstalled Jetpack and reinstalled – that did not solve the issue.

I have contacted the hosting company and they said they do not block connections to wordpress.com. I have other sites on the same host without any issues connecting jetpack

I have purged caches
