After failing 2 times for Adsense approval, I again have made necessary changes and went to my google adsense account, there I did following-

–I enter on “Sites” option on left menu, there I saw my website listed with some reasons like low value content and under that, there was an option to review again (don’t remember exactly)

–Since, I have now fixed the issues, I again submitted my website from there itself.

–It then shows me the message as “`Getting your site ready to show ads
Please bear with us! This usually takes a few days, but in some cases can take up to 2 weeks. We’ll notify you as soon as we’ve run some checks on your site.

Make sure you don’t remove your site and resubmit it because this can delay the process.

In the meantime, place the code on every page you want ads to appear. After our checks are complete, your site will be ready to show ads.

Remember to go to Ads and choose the ad formats you want to show.`
Google site kit has successfully connected with analytics, console and page speed insight but when I am trying

    — Since it now wants me to place code on my website, I planned to place it through the google site kit

–I opened site kit plugin in my WordPress website, there google analytics, console and page speed insight were successfully connected, I now tried to connect adsense.

    — As I tried to connect adsense through site kit, it shows message “Your account isn’t ready to show ads yet
You need to fix some things before we can connect Site Kit to your AdSense account.”

–in the settings of google site kit connected services, for adsense it says “adsense is not connected” with details as “Setup incomplete: continue module setup”

–when I click on continue module setup it again shows me the same error “Your account isn’t ready to show ads yet”

–also on the same site kit setting of adsense, when I click on “see full details on adsense”, my adsense account gets open but I couldn’t find any details which I have to fix.

    — I also disconnected adsense service from site kit and tried to connect again in incognito mode but nothing happened, it shows same error

    — However Since I already submitted my website for review and I thought It is necessary to have that code pasted on my website, I have placed the code manually under header section.

–Now when I go to the “ads” option on left menu on my google adsense account, I see my website listed there with Auto ads status as “ON” with green signal. But when I click on edit option, ad settings preview page opens up which gives message as “We can’t find the page that you’re looking for. Check the URL and try again” (NOTE : the same was happening even before i pasted the code manually)

I am really confused with followings (Kindly answer following questions)

    1.Is this a big issue?

    2.What can I do now?

3.How can I connect my website with adsense through site kit

4.Will this affect the review process of my website

5.Do I have to worry about the code which I have placed manually

Please assist me to resolve this issue as I am really annoyed with this issue.

    Hi @sonu0293,

Thanks for getting in touch. The AdSense approval process can be confusing, so I can understand your frustration. We’re limited to Site Kit queries here in the support forums, and unable to speed up the process. I can hopefully provide you with some pointers based on your queries.

Note that if Site Kit is displaying a “Your account isn’t ready to show ads yet” notice this indicates that the AdSense team didn’t approve your site for ads at this time.

In addition, with regards placing AdSense code on your site, this isn’t required if using Site Kit. As long as you’ve allowed the plugin to insert AdSense code (Site Kit > Settings > Connected Services > AdSense > Edit), the code will be placed. Within the AdSense platform there is a notice to check this. This notice doesn’t state that you have not placed AdSense code, it just mentions to check that there is AdSense code existing.

To answer your other questions, see below:

    1.Is this a big issue?

What you’re encountering isn’t unexpected. It’s common to have to wait for some time for site review. If your site is not approved, you can then take action to address any issues found. The below guide can be useful for this:
    https://support.google.com/adsense/troubleshooter/9370455

    2.What can I do now?

As it sounds like you’ve already re-submitted your site for a review, you can simply wait for a reply from the AdSense team regarding your site submission. You’ll receive a notification by email. As we’re limited to Site Kit queries here in the support forums, any questions regarding reviews or submissions can be best answered over with the product experts at the AdSense Help Center.

3.How can I connect my website with adsense through site kit

You’ve already followed the correct steps. In order to both complete AdSense set up within Site Kit and for ads to appear, you just need to wait for the AdSense team to approve your site.

4.Will this affect the review process of my website

Using Site Kit does not have an impact on the review process of your site. Site Kit just pulls the current AdSense site status from your AdSense account, and displays the messages you’ve been encountering if your site is in review and if you’re site has not been approved. You’ll find more details on the various other messages you can encounter within Site Kit below:
    https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/documentation/using-site-kit/managing-adsense/

5.Do I have to worry about the code which I have placed manually`

As mentioned above no. The notice to insert ad code only suggests you check that Site Kit has inserted Ad Code.

As what you’re encountering is not a Site Kit error, and your site is being re-reviewed for ads I’ll close this support topic. Feel free to reach out to the product experts over on the AdSense Help Center for queries regarding the review process.

I thought I was alone till I saw this message. Did your account finally get approved because I am facing the very same issue.

I have placed the adsense code correctly, it’s not also my first website (I have been approved before.)

I also use site kit, when i try to connect adsense, instead of “Let site kit place adsense code on your site” it jumps directly to “Your site isn’t ready to show ads”. This prompted me to add google adsense code manually and still I have not been approved because adsense can’t seem to pick up my adsense code in my website.

I have also attempted to use other plugins like “Header and Footer ad inserter” this has also failed since I checked ads placement page on adsense website and its still saying “Get Code.”

Please tell me how to fix the issue.

    Hi @fredylangat,

If you’re seeing a “Your site isn’t ready to show ads” message this indicates that you need to address some things before your site can be approved. This isn’t indicative of not having ad code placed on your site. You’ll find more on this below:

    https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/documentation/using-site-kit/managing-adsense/#youraccountisntready

If you check your AdSense account you may also find the cause of your site not being approved (AdSense > Sites > **yoursite** > Show details).

The product experts over at the AdSense Help Center can assist with any queries with regards AdSense approvals.
