Unable to connect with FB

I understand that you’re unable to set up the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin on your site as clicking the Get Started button opens a blank pop-up, is this correct?

I’d suggest performing a full conflict test to rule out any theme/plugin conflicts causing the issue here.

You can temporarily switch the sites theme to?Storefront, and disable all plugins except WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce, then check again to see if you are receiving the blank pop up.

Should the issue persist, please can you share the following:

• System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

OK, turned off all non-WooCommerce plugins, and I was able to at least start connecting to Facebook. However, I was unable to complete the process. After I have selected my Business Manager, Facebook page, Instagram page, Ad Account and Meta Pixel, I get this error:

Something went wrong. This may be because of a technical error that we’re working to get fixed. Try reloading this page.

I tried reloading the page again, as the message suggests, but it sent me back to the beginning of the connection process. I go through the whole process and then get the error again.

Please advise on how to fix this.

Thanks for providing us an update. It seems like you’re encountering an error during the final stages of the connection process. This error might be due to a temporary issue with the Facebook API or a compatibility issue between WooCommerce and Facebook, however, the error message is quite general, and it could be due to a variety of reasons. Here’s what I recommend:

• I recommend clearing your browser cache (this will clear your history) and cookies, to see if this resolves the issue.
• Ensure you have the necessary permissions (you should be an admin) on Facebook Business Manager and on your Facebook Page.
• Make sure you’re running the latest versions of WooCommerce and the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin. Updates often include bug fixes that might solve your issue.

We would also appreciate it if you could provide us with the logs that my colleague asked for, in case the above steps did not help. This will assist us in identifying the issue more effectively.

I tried clearing the browser cache and cookies. I also (once again) deactivated all non-WooCommerce plugins (except for Facebook for WooCommerce).

Of course, when I click on the button, this time the pop-up asked me to login to Facebook (clearing the cookies logged me out). Once I did however, I do not even get the option to configure the connection, I only get that blank grey screen again.

Yes, 2FA is enabled. Is that a problem?

I also have full admin access to my Facebook account and the business account, although I am not getting far enough in the process any longer to actually select the business account. I am logged into Facebook, however. If I log out of Facebook, I do get the screen to log into Facebook, and then I immediately get the blank screen.

I have gone through the rest of the problems in the article you linked, and it would appear that none of the listed problems address the problem I have with reaching a blank screen. They are all addressing specific error messages. I don’t receive any such messages.

Was there anything in the error logs I sent that gave a clue as to the problem?

I only have WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce activated. I have the theme set to Twenty Twenty Three.

Seems like an account-based issue, but without any logs, it’s a bit challenging to pinpoint the exact problem.
