    Your plugin is really a lifesaver and has been using more than a year for my site. Thank you for such a great plugin.

    I am here to ask for suggestions what could possibly be the reason I am unable to connect with WooCommerce android app. I don’t know what setting in the WP Cerber is stropping me to do that. Could you please tell me what could be possible reasons?

    Hi! Most likely it’s about REST API protocol. It also can be XML-RPC. Both settings are on the Hardening tab. One of the protocols is blocked completely or has a too restrictive configuration. I would try to use the app to establish a connection to the website and right away, after the connection failed, check the Activity log for blocked requests.

    Thank you for the reply. Is there any optimal configuration for WP Cerber to stay safe as well as use all functionalities? I am using WordPress with WooCommerce.

    Yes, it was xml-rpc. Is safe to enable or how to use this safely if it is necessary?

    Unfortunately, there is no “one size fits all” configuration since all websites have unique sets of plugins, different configuration and enabled protocols, e.g. XML-RPC. It’s safe to enable it since WP Cerber monitors and filters out malicious XML-RPC requests. But it’s better to have it off to reduce the attack surface and the number of junk XML-RPC entries in Cerber’s logs when a bad actor scans the website for a breach.
