Unable to create blogs after 2.1.1 update!

    I have a large buddypress/wpmu site setup with members creating many new blogs every day. After I updated this plugin, members could go to the “Create a Blog!” form and even see the “Success” after they created their blog, but when you click the url (my site uses sub-domains) it goes to an error page stating that this page does not exist.

    After de-activating buddystream, I was able to create sites again.
    What could be causing this issue?
