unable to create directory

  • hello…i am getting this error in 3.0 mu…
    Unable to create directory /var/www/vhosts/totalautopilot.com/httpdocs/wp-content/blogs.dir/40/files.
    trying to upload via a subblog. i believe i’ve read every post regarding permissions, etc, but to no avail. anyone know what other issues could be preventing me from uploading? (also get the same error when trying to upload via theme header function)
