Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2015/02.

  • Dear all,

    I am using OS X Yosemite, XAMPP 5.6.3-0, WP 4.1.1
    Having error Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2015/02. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Please kindly assist how to solve this problem.

    I am new on using wordpress.
    Just learn how to create website with wordpress theme with localhost

    The error message occur under localhost for media, themes, plugins
