Unable to create new sidebar

  • I am trying to create a BBpress sidebar for my BBPress forum. I went to appearance – widgets and clicked on create new sidebar and got the following error message ” Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”. I am the admin and owner of the website. What do I do?
