    Hello,
When I run installer/php, I see this in the log:

I’m using GoDaddy on Linux. HI updated permission on the TEST3 folder and the duplicator files to 777 before running the script…

    Thanks!
    Tacochamp

    UPDATE:
I manually changed installer-data.sql to 777 and re-ran the script. installer-data.sql is an empty file however. The script has been hung for about 45 minutes now.

THe last entry in the log is:
    ********************************************************************************
    STEP1 COMPLETE @ 08:37:50 – TOTAL RUNTIME: 23.3914 sec.
    ********************************************************************************

Then its been hung for over 45 minutes.

    Thanks

    Hey Tacochamp,

The installer shouldn’t take more than 10 mins max in most cases. You may need to start from scratch on the TEST3 folder and be sure its temporarily set to 777 then make sure the group/owner that the PHP process is running under is setup correctly. You will need to contact GD to validate that the group/owner for PHP are setup correctly then try running the installer again. Don’t forget to reset all your permissions when your done to the WordPress recommended settings…

    Hope that helps!

    Hey Tacochamp,

Where you able to get this going?

    Hi Lifeinthegrid,

Unfortunately not. I tried again today with 0.4.3 and the script fails.

The last entry in the log is “STEP1 COMPLETE @ 09:27:32 – TOTAL RUNTIME: 39.1728 sec.”

    Then the script page shows:
Please try again an issue has occurred.

    server code: 0
    status: error
    response:

Any other way to troubleshoot this?

Go ahead and submit a support ticket and I’ll see why its not work for your particular environment.

    Thanks

Hello, I’ve been using your awesome duplicator with 99% of success. But this time, i’ve encounter the same problems with tacochamp. Any suggestion on how I to get this things done?
    Thanks

    Hey jagonly,

    1. Check inside the package.zip file to see to see if the database.sql file is in fact created properly by validating that it has text (sql statements). If it doesn’t then something went wrong when the package was created.

    2. If your trying to run the installer and the install-data.sql never gets created then you most likly have a permission problem. Check out the FAQ for possible solutions.

    Hope that helps!
