Unable to crop image as contributor

  • Hello,
    I am facing the problem with cropping the image as a user with contributor role. The only thing I see is the field name, “browse” button and image filename. There isn’t any preview or buttons to crop image etc. Could anyone get me a hint how to solve this problem?

    Hey,

    This plugin requires upload_files capability to access the media library. If the user does not have this permission, a basic upload dialog will be displayed without a cropper. You can enable cropping by assigning upload_files capability to the user role but this means that users are able to access the media library like admin users.
