Unable to Crop PNG Media File

  • One of the most frustrating things I am experiencing in my new WP site is the inability to crop my logo. The editor that comes with this WP site renders an error message every time I try to crop my logo, which is a PNG file. The error reads, “image data does not exist. Please reupload the image”. I have tried several times to re-upload this image and I am still unable to get the WP crop tool to recognize my image to crop. I have included a screencast video to illustrate my point.
