Hi, I am not using this plgin and want to remove it.

However, I am not able to deactivate the plugin, why can this be? When i hit the deactivate button, the page reloads and says that the plugin was deactivated, but in fact it is still activated.

    Hi @jorlar1,

Please note that WordPress 6.5 has introduced a new system to detect plugin dependencies. Therefore, a plugin cannot be deactivated while its dependents are activated, and cannot be deleted while its dependents are installed. See: Introducing Plugin Dependencies in WordPress 6.5

Therefore, in order to deactivate our plugin, check if you have other extensions activated on your site that depend on ours, and deactivate them first to enable the “Deactivate” button/link of our plugin.

You will find the plugin dependencies list in the plugin details, labeled as “Required by”.
