Hi there, I have just installed NextGen Gallery and after having a look at the back end and watching the videos I decided it isn’t right for me. I have tried to deactivate (to then delete) the plug in, and I am getting this error message:

    Error thrown

    Undefined class constant ‘MSG_INTEGRATION_NGGALLERY’

Can you please advise how I can completely deactivate and delete the plug in ASAP? I haven’t created any galleries at all on my site.

    Thanks, Sally

    Hi @sallyrodrick,

We are sorry to hear of the problem. This class MSG_INTEGRATION_NGGALLERY doesn’t come from NextGen Gallery plugin so searching it on the web, it appears to come from Shortpixel Image Optimizer plugin. Their plugin seem to have some integration dependencies on NGG and that most likely has caused your site to crash after uninstalling NGG.

You will need to login by FTP to your site’s file hosting then rename wp-content/plugins/_shortpixel-image-optimiser to manually deactivate it. Once done – that should bring back your site and allow you login to your site’s Dashboard.

For more details, you can submit a support thread with them at: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/shortpixel-image-optimiser/

Thanks for the quick response. I was able to deactivate Short Pixel, and then remove NextGen before reactivating.

    Thanks again!
