I installed the free plugin, and then stuff came up and I didn’t have the time to play with it. After a few weeks, I decided to delete it. I first deactivated it, and then deleted it. But here’s what shocked me: the blue ribbon is still there on my website top right! How is this possible?! Also, the website on iPhone shows 2 optin forms from Sumome, even though I deleted the plugin in my WP dashboard. I’m freaking out, how can I get rid of this?! Help! People are going to sign up and the form has nowhere to take them as I didn’t configure, so I will lose their email. Really disappointing.

    Just to clarify:
When I log into my WP dashboard on a windows desktop, I don’t see any trace of the plugin.
When I then go to my website while still logged in, I see the blue crown on the top right. When I click on it, I get a login prompt for Sumome. (I never created a login.)
When I browse to my website on my iphone, an optin form appears on the top across the whole page, and then another optin form pops up from the bottom right.

Looking forward to hearing from someone. At this moment, I’m losing subscribers because I don’t control those optin forms that pop up on iPhone.
    Thanks in advance!

Let me know if you want to have the link to my website to have a look.

Ok, I solved this. I removed the script in the header of my theme. I think to remember that SumoMe instructs to manually add this script upon the installation, and I forgot that I had done that. Phew. What a relief. This was a nightmare. Glad to see not everybody ran into this type of issue and that many are benefitting from the plugin. Not for me though.
