If you are not an administrator in WordPress, speak to the person who has the authorisation to do this. They should give you the delete authorisation.

If you have the administrator role, deactivate all plugins as a test. Does it work then? Then it was due to one of the plugins used and you would have to find out which one sets this setting by activating it individually.

You could try deactivating whatever is adding the Duplicate This option as it may be replacing the Trash option.

As the site administrator, I am still unable to delete posts. I have tried deactivating all plugins and even changing the theme, but the issue persists.
If I make a post draft, then I am able to move it to the trash only from the dropdown menu.

Then the capabilities in WordPress are no longer correct. Theoretically, you could reset them to the starting point using the plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/user-role-editor/, for example. However, this may also reset your own rules set by the plugins. You can usually reset these by reactivating the plugins. If you want to try this, create a backup first.

Using the Role Editor plugin, I reset the user capabilities, and it worked. However, the WooCommerce and Products options are no longer displaying in the backend, although products are being displayed on the frontend. https://prnt.sc/O-IKPHW3qh98

Have you deactivated and reactivated the other plugins, such as WooCommerce, as I wrote?

Instead of using the “User Role Editor” plugin to reset user capabilities, I have used the “Members” plugin to grant the ability to delete published posts. It’s working without any issues. Thanks.
