Unable to disable moderation

What version of WP? What is your server configuration? Have you tried a re-uploading of the WP files, in case one or more is corrupted?
I’ll poke around some more and see if I can find anything.

v 1.2… yea, i redownloaded and reloaded the entire package twice just to make sure it wasn’t something i was feeding my server. everything is based on the root directory. i remember reading about how to handle that configuration as opposed to a lower level directory, and i made sure to follow it word for word.

Try putting some words in your moderation list just so it won’t be empty, that may cause a problem.
