• Wow, this is the best plugin for GPX data by a mile!

    The only issue I have is seeming to be unable to save the “Show altitude” setting as unticked in the main settings?

    I want to display my sailing tracks with the lovely interactive speed chart but obviously not the altitude as that is really irrelevant for me.

    I’ve found the wpgpxmaps_show_elevation setting in the database in wp_options which is actually set to false. I tried changing it to EMPTY ie ” and still no joy the altitude data overlay is still there and it still shows as ticked in the settings.

    Could anyone point me in the right direction or can I override it in some way on the embedding code?

    I am using the Divi theme but can’t imagine how that would affect it?

  • A solution is to modifie the code in the pluginmap

    open file wp-gpx-maps.php

    +- at line 650

    change
    $hideGraph = ( ‘0’ == $gh || ‘0px’ == $gh );

    into
    $hideGraph = true;

    and the graph is gone
