I can’t get the Jetpack dashboard to work properly on our website. It rarely loads completely giving a message:
“Jetpack encountered an error and was unable to display the Dashboard. Please try refreshing the page.”
But no number of refreshings will make any difference. On a couple of occasions, I returned to the tab that has been left open and found that the Dashboard has loaded completely in the meantime but that is just random.
I tried to access the xmlrpc.php but that gives a “406 Not Acceptable” error.
    How can this be resolved?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Same thing happened to me. So I deleted all the plugin files, reinstalled the plugin (which worked, or so I thought). Now I’m getting “http_request_failed: “cURL error 7: Failed to connect to dashboard.wordpress.com port 443: Connection timed out” errors. The previous update really messed things up.

Same here. As I installed Jetpack today, I have no idea of what happening..
But Dashboard is not loading. ?

    Hi @pavelmin

I’ve taken a look into your site, and it appears that the Jetpack connection is currently broken; that’s why you are having trouble accessing the Jetpack dashboard.

It appears that your XML-RPC endpoint isn’t working and showing a “406 Not Acceptable” error instead; this is possibly being simply implemented by your host. I’d suggest reaching out to them, and asking that they allow the XML-RPC endpoint, or at least have our IP ranges whitelisted so Jetpack can access and send requests there:

@chantalleblanc and @petercrosby415, you may want to do the same thing as the connection timeout error is basically the same. If the issue persists, you can create your own thread or reach out to us here so we can investigate this further,

    Best,

    Hi
