Unable to download image to server, please check your server permissions…
-
We have many different WordPress sites, and have found that Instant Images works in all of our installations except those where the WordPress installation folder is different than the site root.
This WordPress documentation page explains how to set your installation folder different than your site URL:
I looked for other threads on the topic, and came across this thread where the plugin author mention that it was reported by a number of users but they’d been unable to find the cause ( https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/unable-to-download-image-to-server-please-check-your-server-permissions/ ). I’d reply in that thread, but it says that it’s been closed. I’m wondering if maybe the missing link could be that the WordPress installation could be in it’s own directory other than the site address?
Has anyone gotten Instant Images working in a site where your “WordPress Address (URL)” is different from your “Site Address (URL)” (in General Settings)?
Thanks,
Jacob
