First time this has happened. Been using Duplicator for years. Did a fresh install of WordPress latest version with latest version of Duplicator plugin on A2 Hosting Turbo Boost (litespeed) server. Able to create new package with no apparent problems, but unable to download the installer.php file and get Firefox browser pop-up error “C:\Users\xyz\Downloads\VShtQAqs.php.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.”

Never had an error before have done 100’s of backups/downloads of installer & archive zip files. Tried it with Chrome and also the alternate duplicator DupArchive package method (non-zip) and have the same error result.

Is this anything to do with Litespeed server?

    UPDATE:
FYI > I changed PHP version from 8.0 to 8.1 on the web hosting server and was able to create and download both installer.php and archive zip file successfully with no error.

    Please advise,
    Thanks
