I am unable to drag and drop the widgets. I dont see the configure button too. As far as I know the files are put in right location.

If you meant latest widgets, I just downloaded yesterday.
It works on local xammp setup(with wp201). But does not work on server. Should I download latest WP ?(I have 2.0.1)

It looks like fixed –on firefox it is not working. On IE it is working…oh that is after I took the version from here. But why is this not directly available from download page ?

Also the above was supposed be the fix for IIS..but mine is running on Apache.

I am also running on Apache and am having the same issue.

Most current version installed of WP and of Widgets toolbar. They are enabled. Everything works — I just can NOT drag and drop from Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 2.0.

Javascript is enabled and my WP site is set for the lowest security setting.

The JS folder also contains scriptaculous and it seems to be current.

    Any ideas?

I had this issue and I discovered that for whatever reason my install was looking for wp-*.js (ie: I made a copy of all the JS files in the wp-includes/js/scriptaculous folder and appended “wp-” to the front of the script name…)

    WP2.1, Fedora Core 6
