Unable to edit contact forms since 5.5 update

I have the same issue, I see a red notification with a “1” but the page is empty.

It gives me this error:

PHP Fatal Error
Uncaught Error: in_array(): Argument #2 ($haystack) must be of type array, string given
wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/admin/includes/welcome-panel.php:284

I have the same problem upon updating to ver. 5.5

hey everybody, we just saw that contact form put out an update and it gets the job done for us. hope it helps you too!
