    Hi @nick257,

Can you please write which version of Form Maker you use?

Have you recently updated from old version to new?

Can you please describe more in detail what exactly happens?

    Hi Zhanna,

    I am running Version 1.13.40.

Not sure when last updated? don’t keep track of changes.

    The problem:

I click “Form Maker” > “forms”
Get a list of forms I have created, and a few sample forms you provided. I want to add CAPCHTA to an existing contact form… (getting spam).

If I try to edit a form, I click “edit” on the sub-menu under the form name, there is a brief re-direct in the browser, but I end up back at the list of forms – in other words, unable to edit the form.

    Thanks
    Nick

    Dear Nick,

Do you get the issue only with one form or with all of them?

Nick please open the forms, right-click choose Inspect element > console and hit on Edit button again, it’ll show whether there are any JS errors on your site, if there are any please send us the errors or screenshots of the errors.

Dear Nick you can also install Health Check troubleshooting plugin to test whether there is any conflict with ot6her plugins.

Please get back to me with your test results.

The issue applies to all forms.

WP heath-check plugin run, no compatibility issues, with other plugins. WP up to date .

Opened Inspect Element (in Chrome, and Edge), no Java runtime errors.

    URL I’m starting from:
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=manage_fm&task=display&nonce_fm=87ee7f9ff5

click “Edit” unander ANY form, e.g.
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=manage_fm&task=edit&current_id=1

    Simply redirects back to:
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=manage_fm&task=display&nonce_fm=87ee7f9ff5

    Hello @nick257,

I am sorry, we have understood that this issue is connected with WordPress latest 5.5 update.

In form fields, you don’t see any edit, delete or replicate buttons, right?

If yes, then we are working now on this issue and will do our best to solve it ASAP.

I do see the links, under each form, to Edit, delete, replicate… When I click them I end up back where I started… Anyway – no worries – will wait for your update.

    Thanks
    Nick

    Dear Nick,

If you see Edit, Delete, Replicate button then the issue is not connected with the update.

That can be a conflict with other plugins you use, please install Health check plugin and try to troubleshoot the issue.

Basically this plugin creates an environment that is only for your session, where all your plugins are not active and you can enable only form maker to see how it behaves in that environment.

If no conflict then the other case is that you have installed the latest version over a very old version (like a version we had some 3-4 years ago) of our plugin. Is this the case?

Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
