• I am finding it impossible to edit current pages on my WordPress website.

When attempting to edit pages I am receiving the following message or similar, or alternatively a completely blank page. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1792 bytes) in /home/content/31/11749531/html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Updater.php on line 67.

I have checked a range of pages on the website and all are experiencing the same problem.

I have the latest version of WordPress and of the Avada Child theme. All plugins have been updated and all spammy comments deleted.

    Can you help?

    Greetings!

Just from that error message it sounds like the memory limit might be low in order to be using what you are using. That error is sort of saying the issue is being created by the Event Calendar. That does not mean it is the issue though.

What it is saying is that it is trying to use more than it currently has ( memory ). Sort of like when your pen runs out of ink. Some servers have a set limit of 128mb and some have much less. In this case it appears that the workload ( plugins, themes, page load, whatever you want to call it ) used up about 60mb and it tried to use a little more but failed to do so.

What you can do is try increasing the memory limit. There are several ways of doing so and how you want to do that all depends on your comfort level. This article provides a few ways of doing that: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/

Let us know if that helps. ??
