Unable to edit post after inserting Recipe Card

I just downloaded recipe card and have a few concerns.
The first being that once I added in a recipe with recipe card, I am unable to make any edits or changes to the rest of my post, thus making me delete the recipe card while I edit my post and start all over again. I am wondering if this issue can be resolved or if I need to look for another recipe plugin.
Also, I have read a few reviews stating that all of a sudden their recipes disappeared from their blog. Has this issue been resolved or is this something that I may potentially face in the future?
