    Hello;

    I just read an article from Yoast about the difference between a post tile and an SEO title, and that the latter can be edited.

    However, I am unable to see how I can edit the SEO title. (I’m using the free version of the plugin.)

    Thank you for your help!

    Hello @warrentab

    Thanks for reaching out about the SEO title.

    To edit the SEO title of a post, edit the post, then scroll down to the Yoast SEO metabox under the default WordPress content editor. There you will have the SEO title field. See this screenshot.

    Do let us know how it goes.

    Hi, @maybellyne:

    Thank you for your fast reply. I see that feature below my posts, only there seems to be a few tags in the space for the SEO title. Here’s my screenshot.

    Do I remove those tags and use the empty field for the edited SEO title?

    Regards,

    Hello @warrentab

    Thanks for the helpful screenshot. Those tags are called snippet variables; they’re defaults, but you can remove/change them to suit your needs. You can read more about them here
