Unable to edit Title

Hi there,

Are you getting any kind of error when you try to edit the titles? Are you on the latest version of Atomic Blocks and Gutenberg?

Me too…was working before the version of Gutenberg released today.

No errors. Title just cannot be clicked/edited. My site on a staging server and unavailable to share right now. Sorry.

I’m looking into this, but not able to replicate the issue entirely. I can see that there seems to be a small focus issue with the cursor when clicking in and out of the CTA. But if you click a few times the title should be editable. Here’s what I’m seeing: https://cl.ly/69dff49228e2

If there are certain instances you know of where this issue is happening, let me know a little more and I’ll dig deeper. If anything, it seems like this might be a temporary quirk with Gutenberg and how they’re handling focus.

Hey AB, you’re correct…it does work, but there’s no visual indicator or click feedback after clicking in the title. It just says ‘Accordion Title’ until you begin typing.

Ok good to know. I’m going to keep an eye on both the blocks and the core Gutenberg editor to see if any issues pop up about this on github. Thanks!

I’m getting this error, also. The only way I’ve been able to add titles is by converting it to HTML.

I also get it in the AB Profile Box (but for the “Add Title” and “Add Profile Text…” areas; “Add name” has been completely successful so far). After reading some of these comments after already having the issue with the Accordion, I tried clicking it multiple times but it just highlights it like it’s static text. If you press Enter, it’ll just knock you down to the next block and if you press Back, you’ll either delete the whole block or even go back a page. It seems to vary from block to block because sometimes I can get the “Add Title” to work (only the Profile Box, never for the Accordion).

The only error the console gives me is:

wp.editor.RichTextProvider is deprecated and will be removed from Gutenberg in 4.0.0. Please use wp.data.select( 'core/editor' ) methods instead. Note: This is a global warning, shown regardless of whether the component is used.
