    This is really troubling…

I am a pro user and I am unable to embed any videos as it seems that your plugin depends on reaching your web site in order to function properly. I was not able to use your support form embed within the plugin because is not working either because is also depending on your website.

Besides the plugin not working, I worry now that if your site gets hacked my site gets hacked as well, either by the support form you are injecting on the site or other mechanism that the plugin relies on embedplus.com

    Please advice,

    Thanks

    Hi Lechon,

It was temporarily down for updates and is back up. The function you’re describing is simply the Pro version’s wizard screens for adding new embeds. Your existing embeds and the plugin settings were not affected in any way by our site’s status. Along those lines, we periodically do updates on our site which may limit the Pro wizard’s functionality for brief periods of time. As for the contact form, if that does not come up for you in the future during updates, you’re always welcome to reply to your Pro welcome email for support requests, and that always gets sent to us with the same priority.

Also, we don’t really follow your last comment about our site’s status affecting your own site’s given the plugin architecture makes the two mutually exclusive. In fact, the separation of the architectures also protects your Pro license so that only you can use it. So, was the comment more speculation or do you have something we can specifically look at?

Lastly, if you’re dissatisfied with the Pro version, you could cancel it and revert to the Free version–which is self-contained but will therefore not have any of the Pro features, priority contact form, etc.

Thanks for getting back to me with the explanation, I understand now.

On my second part of my comment regarding the form embed, is just a concern, as we experienced a while ago a site that was compromised by another plugin that had a similar form embed on the site. Their site got hacked and in terms ours too. We are only going by past experience.

Thanks again for providing a detail explanation of the issue.

    Regards,

    Lechon
