Unable to enable taxes in settings
-
I have been running a small WooCommerce site for a few months but had the “Enable taxes” setting off because the tax was included in the price and I did not feel that i needed to break it out.
The tax rate recently changed (after about 30-odd years) and now I feel I need to show the tax component that is included in the total price in the invoice. But, try as I might to enable the “Enable taxes” checkbox in WooCommerce->Settings->General, it always comes back unchecked after saving.
Any and all other changes to Store Address, General options, Currency options, etc. in the General tab are saved successfully… except for the “Enable taxes” setting with does not appear to get saved and always return unchecked after saving.
As a result, I am unable to enable the Tax tab in WooCommerce->Settings.
- Has anyone experienced something like this?
- Is there some prerequisite to enabling taxes that I may have missed
I am running the W3 Total Cache plugin – but I wouldn’t expect it to cache the Admin pages… Also that would not explain why all the other settings changes get saved successfully except for the Enable taxes setting?
Please help… anyone with any idea as to what may be going on!
