Unable to figure out where the locations are stored

Hello all,
I need to have a dropdown in my website where I would allow the user to select cities and not type it into the input box. For the same I will need to query the database to load cities and states in my dropdown. I am not sure where my locations are stored. I checked the database I couldn’t find anything like locations there.
Any idea anyone? How do I find the table which stores the locations and related data?
