I installed your plugin last night and put in maintenance mode. I rechecked and was able to log in. Now I go to my login page (and I have done nothing since I last accessed it last night) and my login page will not come up. I did not use the login special name option (where a different page comes up to log in).

What am I supposed to do? This is the 3rd security plugin I’ve tried and both other times I lost my site and had to start over. Pretty ticked to say the least.

I installed it exactly the same on another site and its fine.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, looks like there is some sort of setting, configuration, plugin and or theme in this site that is causing this issue.

What is the difference between all the sites that works for you and this one that you are having issues with?

How can I get logged in? Do I have to delete the plugin? It was working fine last night. When I put the maintenance mode on, I went back to make sure I could log back in and it allow me to.

Hi, you can disable the plugin by renaming the folder to a different name via FTP. This will allow you to log back in. Then simply rename the folder back to its original name, enable the plugin and you should be able to work out what caused the problem.

Thank you. I was able to get in. I use a premium theme called Flavor, which is a more complex theme that also uses mini-sites. My site, so far, is just in testing stage, so I just have “filler” type posts in it right now.

I also have the following plugins installed. Can you see if any of these will cause a conflict with your security plugin:

    Rebuild all thumbnails – activated

    Akismet Anti-Spam – activated

All In One WP Security – deactivated

    Contact Form 7 – deactivated

Custom User Profile Photo – activated

Email Subscribers & Newsletters – deactivated

    Enhanced Text Widget – activated

    Envato Market – activated

    Google XML Sitemaps – deactivated

    Lightweight Grid Columns – activated

    Maintenance – deactivated

Quttera Web Malware Scanner – activated

    Responsive Lightbox – Activated

    Tabs Pro wpshopmart – Deactivated

    TinyMCE Advanced – activated

    Universal Star Rating – activated

    WonderPlugin Carousel – activated

    WooCommerce – deactivated

    WordPress Importer – activated

    WP Customer Reviews – deactivated

Can you also tell me what feature or features on your plugin that caused the login screen to be non-accessible?

Hi, I am not really sure but this is something you will have to play around with.

First start by disabling all of your other plugins. Then carrying out a test? If the issue persist then you know it is not a plugin conflict. Then go to the next step.

If it is your theme causing this issue, start by making sure nothing is enabled in the security plugin. Then start by enabling the Firewall features one by one and at the same time carryout a test.

Carry out the same steps as above with all other features in the security plugin until you come across the culprit setting. I know this sounds like a lot of work, but I feel it is essential and it is the only way to find out what is causing the issue.

Let me know how you go.

    Regards

Ok. Thank you. I’ll do that and see what happens. Thanks for the help.
