Hello, 1st I would like to thank you guys in the Woocommerce team for this professional support.

Following the earlier ticket and going straight to our subject, we are sending you asking to help us communicate with the related team in the Pinterest team in regard to the approval of our website.

We rejected! They mentioned the reason is: “The merchant’s domain URL is broken”! then we appealed their decision because our site is working fine as we are monitoring it always in several ways, then it is rejected again and so according to them we lost any chance of appealing again! we still haven’t any clear reason yet and we lost a chance to reach a clear situation of this relation.

Although, we tried to find their policy or any helpful materials before the appeal but nothing worked in their business hub, nor help articles or the forum due to the broken links in their website. (screenshots and system report are attached)

Hardly we reached their contact channel details because of their broken links, so we communicated with them several times to know what is the reason for this rejection or what we can do! but there was no confirmation or any feedback!

So, we want to know what is going on! Shall we remove this plugin and leave them or is there a way to reach together for a solution?

I wish that we shared the related necessary information and explained it well.

    Hi there @ramikamil ??

    Thank you for reaching out!

Unable to get approved from Pinterest with difficulties in contacting the thier

From what I gather, you are using the Pinterest for WooCommerce plugin and encounter a The merchant’s domain URL is broken message, for not meeting the standards in the Merchant Guidelines. Correct?

Just to clarify, the site is not hidden behind a coming soon or maintenance page, correct? Pinterest will not be able to read the meta tag to confirm ownership unless the site is public.

Furthermore, how far were you able to go, when following our step-by-step getting started guide, linked directly here?

To help you further, I’d like to understand more about your setup.

Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here or into our https://Quickforget.com service and send that secret link here.

We await your response to better assist you.

    Hello…

    Thanks for your reply.
I shared what you asked for in addition to some information in the started thread… I’ll share it again (to show how we faced broken links and help) with more flexibility. (check here)

So, you are right about the merchant! Our site is running & functions great. not hidden not broke and monitored 24/7. and there is no feedback or response from them.

The plugin setup and the connection seems to me it’s working well til the moment! and the ‘Save to Pinterest’ appeared.

Finally, I hope that i covered the subject with useful information.
    Waiting your kind feedback.

    Hi @ramikamil,

I’m afraid we do not have sufficient information to move forward. Please provide the following:

    1. Your Pinterest username – the business account username
    2. Your site systems status report – You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Download for support”.
    3. Your Pinterest log – you can find it in the dropdown WooCommerce > Status > Logs (Enable Debug Logging has to be turned on in Marketing > Pinterest > Settings for the log to be recorded).

You can share the information via quickforget.com. If you’re not comfortable sharing it here, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page. (Include a link to this forum thread and your review, so we can keep track of what’s already been done)

For clarification, the previous links you shared only include a screenshot of the issue. That isn’t sufficient to move forward.

    Thank you.

    Hi @ramikamil,

We’ve heard back from Pinterest support regarding your approval. You should be all set now! I see products populated on your hidden _products board on Pinterest. Are you seeing any errors now on the WooCommerce side, or are things working as expected?

    Hello dear all…
Really thank you dear all… you are great a team & great people…

Regarding the red colors are gone now from Woocommerce & the Pinterest panel; appreciated. but I think there is a tinny thing that I was monitoring after your last message for some time, as attached there is a Verification merchant in progress and the button ‘See Details’ is not working!

Hi Rami, glad that things are working now!

The link for “See details” is one within Pinterest itself, so it is not something we have control over. However, testing with our own account, the link leads to https://www.pinterest.com/business/hub/?show_vmp=true

This will open the “Become a verified merchant” panel if it has been closed. It will not do anything if the panel is already open. You may wish to give feedback to Pinterest via their help center.

As a next step, I recommend testing your checkout following our guide for tag health to ensure Pinterest receives conversion events from your site.

@darciemg Thanks for your coming by and for your kind information. indeed I go through what you mentioned and it was very helpful. I’ll try with them to see more about the unreachable details of merchant verification.
For now, I would like to thank you all @anastas10s, @darciemg, and a big thank you @sukafia for the kind continues support from the previous thread to here.
Hope all of you have a great weekend.
