Unable to get connected to wordpress blog through Filezilla

  • Hi,
    I have a wordpress blog, and it presently doesn’t have any domain. The address is as follows

    https://hookedondesign.wordpress.com

    When I logged into Filezilla to upload a plugin, I am unable to get a connection.

    Maybe am doing something wrong while entering details in Filezilla.

    The following are the details that I entered.

    Host: hookedondesign.wordpress.com
    Username: hookedondesign
    password: *********

    Please do guide me in this regard. Is it possible to install plugins… even when I dont have a domain of my own?

    I have checked numerous FAQ’s and support topics but I have not been able to find a solution to my problem… PLEASE HELP

    That’s another website. We are the www.ads-software.com people.

    On that site you have a hosted service. No FTP, of course, because that is NOT your own host, server, hosting etc.
    You can work with FTP only when you have:
    – your domain
    – your hosting package bought from a company etc.

    Thanks that answers my question completely… how do I add meta tags and so on to my blog without getting a hosting service? Is there a possibility of doing that?
