To troubleshoot the case, please install and activate the Email log plugin and then try to reproduce the issue. If the emails are sent from the plugin, you will see the email sent from the “View Logs” section of the Email log plugin. If the email logs are showing but it’s not delivering to the recipient. In this case, there is a chance your site SMTP is not working properly, so I would recommend installing a plugin like POST SMTP, configure your associated email SMTP function. Then it should send the email through your configured email.
