Unable to get past Registration Form

  • Hi,

    I would really like to use your awesome plugin but I’m not getting past the Registration page. After I click register, the Registration Form is displayed again without an error message. There is no entry in the membership table.

    I checked the php error logs, the Simple Membership debug log but I don’t see any errors.

    Any guidance greatly appreciated.

    Hi Chris, are you referring to Free membership or Paid membership? Are you using the Form Builder Add-on?

    Hi,

    thanks for the response. I just created a Membership Level and then added the level id 2 in the ‘Free Memberhip ID’ field in the settings. That’s all I did so far. I’m not using the Form Builder Add On.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    thanks very much for the instructions. I did follow the ‘Free Membership’ setup step by step. But, still no luck. It really is a strange behavior without any error message. You can see it here:

    Hi Chris, I just carried out a registration and I was able to register, login and then log out. Please check your members list and you will see my name Manuel.

    I can confirm that it is working correctly. Although I could not find a way to log out without typing the login in address in the browser address bar in order to log out.

    If you want to carry out a test make sure you use a different browser to register and login, this works better when carrying out a test. If you don’t have a different browser make sure you are logged out and then try to register.

    just wondering how to control the password length and if it requires mixed case and special characters for the registration form.

    Hi guys. I have the same problem. My website is writen in Spanish which probably will not help you much

    If you press at the button in “zona colaboradores” and then you press in “registrate ya” you can see that do not allow me to go anywhere else. I think I have everythink set up correctly for a free membership. yet this error shows:

    Error! Failed to retrieve membership level ID from the membership info object.

    I will appreciate any help as I dont know what else to do
