• Hi, we installed toplytics 4.0.0 on a WP 5.2.5 web site.
    PHP versione installed: 7.2.19

We were able to connect to Google Analytics with the private Authorization method.
The top posts Fetched from google in the overview tab of the plugin are 16 in this moment.

But if we try to use Toplytics widget, the “Statistic period” select is empty and on the front end it does not display anything.
Same thing if we try to use the shortcode or php code inside a template file.

If we link to the result endpoint shown in the settings tab, it shows “null” on the browser, the list is empty.

What should we do to fix this problem?
    Thank you!

    Hello @flaviese,

Please check the plugin settings and increase the “Posts to fetch from GA” value. For example, you can try and set this to 200 and try decreasing to fit your needs. Also make sure at least one of the Tops is enabled in your settings, for example: “Monthly Top” or “Realtime Top”.

As for the “Fetched from Google” value, it shows the actual data received from GA but if the data is not relevant it will not be displayed. The plugin gets the top list but if they are all pages for example or another post type they will not show up. You can customize this behavior using the plugin settings and for example, add “page” as the enable post type in the “Allowed post types” field.

You can also bypass the local post-discovery entirely by using the “Skip Local Post Discovery” option. This will allow you to get all the pages / URLs from your GA and now filter them via the WP.

Please let us know if this solved your problem.

    Best regards,
    ~Presslabs Team

Hi, It seems to work on production site. Not on the staging one, that is under a directory in the main/production host.
I don’t know why, however, it works ??
    Thankyou!
