Unable to get wp-admin or login to come up

    I am first going to say I am sorry for sounding idiotic.

    I am trying to get my site/wp-login.php to come up. I have created the dB, I have installed wp via cpanel through Softaculous installer. It was placed in /home/”admin user name”/public_html

    When I select the link: https://hopeandharmonyglobal.org/wp-login it is redirecting me to the goDaddy page.

    I have been fighting this all day. What am I missing? Help.. please…?

  • Usually you would use /wp-admin not /wp-login

    When I tried /wp-admin I got the same thing as when I tried to view your site. Have you tried deleting your wordpress install and reinstallling it?

    possibly best to phone godaddy support.

    right now, when viewing the html of the page that comes up when you go to your site url, contains the code of the config file with the passwords for your database etc…

    make sure to change that once you succeed to install WordPress.

    I have spoken to GoDaddy and Host9 and all of the settings are correct. they are now stating it is something in WordPress that needs to be corrected. I have uninstalled and reinstalled WordPress 2x.
    THEN…
    I deleted the dB
    Turned off autoupdate for EVERYTHING
    and ran a new install and…. I am in! FINALLY!!!

    Thank you! What an adventure this has been. NOW I am back in my element!
